Title

Private & Commercial Helicopter Licence

Location

Townsville Airport. Townsville is Queensland's second largest city behind Brisbane and argueably, the capital of North Queensalnd. For more information on Townsville, visit the Townsville website.

From an aviation point of view Townsville Airport proves to be a great starting point for all lessons as our students are exposed to controlled and non controlled airspaces early in their training. Some of your flying training will take you from the beaches in Queensland's North to the rolling mountainous areas of the Great Dividing Range ie. The Paluma range and Wallaman Falls are part of your navigation training with us.

TIF (Trial Introductory Flight)

We invite you to come in and take a TIF (Trial Introductory Flight) with us. This is a no obligation 30 minute initial training flight with one of our experienced instructors. The cost of this helicopter experience is only $395 (incl. GST).

These flights are designed to give you an insight into the feel of a helicopter first hand. The TIF's consist of an initial briefing in a casual classroom environment to discuss the very basics of a helicopter and how they fly. Then it's out in the helicopter to experience the feeling first hand! The time flown is also counted as time towards you licence, so come along and experience the thrill we will also be able to answer any questions you may and help you to your next stage of becoming a commercial pilot.

Please contact us if you have any enquiries.
