Sling/Vertical Reference Endorsement
On of the of the best assets of a helicopter is its ability to transport cargo as an external load to areas that otherwise would be inaccessible. Pilots that are proficient in vertical reference/longline operations are sought after in the marketplace both locally and overseas. For this reason, Townsville Helicopters places a lot of emphasis on this endorsement. We strongly encourage all pilots and students to obtain their sling endorsement.
Our instructors have the knowledge of years of sling and precision longline in commercial helicopter operations in Australia and overseas and look forward to passing this experience on to students.
